A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.

About this process
L'Ajuntament de Rubí inicia un procés per tal de recollir les aportacions de la ciutadania del municipi en relació al projecte de millora del Parc de Ca n'Oriol.
Aquest és un dels pulmons verds més importants de la ciutat i una de les zones d'esbarjo amb més afluència del municipi. L'Ajuntament de Rubí vol promoure un projecte de millora participat que recuperi la centralitat del parc en la ciutat. És per aquest motiu que es planteja aquest procés, per tal d'identificar i establir criteris i propostes sobre l'avantprojecte de millora del Parc de Ca n'Oriol.
Finalment la ciutadania de Rubí podrà votar entre 3 propostes d'avantprojecte pel Parc de Ca n'Oriol.
